Assam CM Launches First Installment Of CMAAA 2.0, Empowers Thousands Of Young Entrepreneurs

Assam Accord Implementation Minister Atul Bora on Wednesday highlighted the impact of the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Assam Abhiyan (CMAAA), saying the scheme has instilled hope and confidence among the youth, promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship across the state.

Under CMAAA 2.0, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed the first installment of financial assistance to beneficiaries from Golaghat, Jorhat, and Majuli districts at a programme held at the Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology.

In this phase, 2,995 beneficiaries from Golaghat, 2,366 from Jorhat, and 597 from Majuli received support. In Bokakhat, 584 beneficiaries were provided the first installment. Minister Bora expressed confidence that the funds would be effectively utilized to strengthen Assam’s economic foundation.

The event was attended by Union Minister of State P. Margherita, Assam Ministers Ajanta Neog and Bimal Borah, MP Kamakhya Tasa, MLAs Pradeep Hazarika, Hitendra Nath Goswami, Bhavendra Nath Bharali, Mrinal Saikia, Rupjyoti Kurmi, Biswajit Phukan, Bhuban Gam, district officials, and the beneficiaries.
