Assam CM distributes Land Pattas To 44,700 Beneficiaries Under Mission Basundhara 3.0 In Dhemaji

Assam: Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday distributed land pattas along with allotment and settlement certificates to 44,700 beneficiaries in Dhemaji district under Mission Basundhara 3.0, an initiative aimed at providing land ownership rights to eligible residents.

During the programme, digital pattas under the SVAMITVA scheme and forest rights certificates were also granted to 538 families living in the Jiadhal and Subansiri Reserved Forest areas. The initiative is intended to formalise land holdings and strengthen tenure security for beneficiaries.

In a separate programme, the Chief Minister launched the distribution of land pattas to residents of un-surveyed Amarpur village in Sadiya, extending land ownership benefits to local inhabitants.

He also laid the foundation stones for electrification projects aimed at connecting char areas and expanding electricity access to households, with the projects expected to improve infrastructure and basic services in the region.
