Agartala, February 28, 2026: District Magistrate and Collector of North Tripura Chandni Chandran, along with Aspirational Block Fellow of Dasda, attended the NITI Aayog workshop on Frontier 50 held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on Friday.
Speaking during the panel discussion of District Collectors, Chandran said the platform provided an important opportunity to exchange ideas on leveraging frontier technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to strengthen governance outcomes. She highlighted the potential of emerging technologies in bridging learning gaps, improving access, and enhancing the overall quality of education delivery at the grassroots level.
“It is encouraging that Dasda has been selected among the 50 aspirational blocks out of 500 across the country for piloting frontier technologies. This initiative can play a crucial role in addressing critical gaps in public service delivery, particularly in education,” the District Magistrate said.
She added that exposure to best practices and policy insights at the national level would help district administrations design innovative, technology-driven solutions tailored to local needs. The Frontier 50 initiative aims to support district-led innovation by testing advanced technologies to improve efficiency, transparency, and citizen-centric services in aspirational blocks.
