Security forces intercepted a four-wheeler and recovered suspected narcotics during a routine check at a naka point under Tengnoupal Police Station on March 4, 2026.

According to officials, the vehicle, a Mahindra Thar bearing registration number MN 01 AW 8063, was stopped at the Tengnoupal naka check post. During a thorough search of the vehicle, security personnel recovered and seized approximately 2.33 kilograms of WY tablets and 0.592 kilograms of brown sugar concealed inside the vehicle.

In addition to the narcotics, authorities also seized one mobile phone, an Aadhaar card, and the registration certificate (RC) of the vehicle from the spot.

Officials said further investigation is currently underway to ascertain the source and intended destination of the seized contraband and to identify individuals involved in the illegal trafficking.
