Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh reviewed the progress of the railway line connecting Imphal during a meeting with officials of Northeast Frontier Railway at the Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by Ashish Bansal, General Manager of NF Railway Construction (Maligaon), along with other officials, who apprised the Chief Minister of the latest developments in the construction of the railway line to Imphal, regarded as a landmark infrastructure project for Manipur.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister emphasised that the commissioning of the railway line will significantly strengthen the state’s transport infrastructure, improve connectivity, and ensure a more efficient and secure supply chain. He noted that the project is expected to greatly enhance the ease of living for the people of Manipur in line with the vision of Narendra Modi.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to the project, the Chief Minister assured that the state government will extend all necessary support to ensure the timely completion of the railway line for the overall progress and prosperity of Manipur.
