Arunachal Police Seized Heroin Worth Rs 1.37 Lakh In Namsai Raid

Itanagar, Mar 10: Arunachal Pradesh Police seized 26 grams of heroin, valued at around Rs 1.37 lakh, from a residence in Nongtow Khamti village, Namsai district, officials said on Tuesday (March 10).

Acting on credible intelligence regarding illegal narcotic sales, a team led by Namsai SDPO Kengo Dirchi, along with Inspector AK Pandey of Namsai Police Station and other personnel, conducted the raid on March 9 under the supervision of SP Sange Thinley.

During the search, conducted in the presence of independent witnesses, the heroin was found in a sling bag belonging to the accused.
