Nand Kishore Yadav was sworn in as the 23rd Governor of Nagaland on Friday at Dr. Imkongliba Ao Hall, Lok Bhavan, Kohima. The oath of office was administered by Ashutosh Kumar, Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.
The ceremony was attended by Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, his cabinet colleagues, dignitaries, officials, and invited guests.
Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio congratulated Yadav and wished him a successful tenure serving the people of the state.
Nagaland deputy chief minister Y Patton also extended his congratulations, expressing confidence that the Governor’s experience in public service would contribute to the state’s progress, unity, and welfare.
