Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand on Tuesday informed that he laid several important financial documents on the Table of the House during the 7th Sitting of the 7th Session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly.
The documents include the Medium Term Fiscal Policy Statement, Fiscal Policy Strategy Statement, Macro Economic Framework Statement, and other mandatory disclosures, which collectively outline the government’s fiscal roadmap and emphasize financial discipline and transparency across key sectors of the state economy.
The Chief Minister expressed appreciation for the constructive cooperation and active participation of the Members of the House, both in person and virtually, during discussions on the Demands for Grants. He also acknowledged the valuable inputs and insights shared by members through Cut Motions.
Khemchand further stated that he was gratified to move for consideration and passing of the Manipur Appropriation (No. 2) Bill, 2026, noting that the legislation would provide a strong financial foundation to support the state’s development priorities for the fiscal year 2026–27.
