The Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur, Dharun Kumar S, inaugurated the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Henglep in the presence of MLA Letzamang Haokip and district-level officers.

The PHC, which had been serving the subdivision for years with limited infrastructure, has now been upgraded with improved facilities.

Following the inauguration, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the centre, reviewing rooms, medical equipment, and other healthcare arrangements.

Later, the District Administration held a District Level Officers (DLO) meeting at the SDO Office complex in Henglep sub-divisional headquarters to strengthen administrative outreach in rural areas.

During the meeting, officials conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing schemes, assessing progress, identifying challenges, and discussing measures to improve public service delivery.

The deliberations were attended by the MLA, district-level officers, and representatives from various line departments.

The programme concluded with a luncheon hosted by SDO Henglep, Mangminthang Gangte, for the DLOs and staff.
