S Supongmeren Jamir, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Nagaland, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Thursday to discuss key issues concerning the state.

The meeting focused on the need for an early and inclusive political settlement of the long-pending Naga political issue. Jamir also raised concerns regarding the Free Movement Regime, stressing the protection of border communities, and highlighted the need for development and upgradation of village guards.

He expressed hope for proactive steps from the central government and reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for the rights and welfare of the Naga people.
