Agartala, March 27, 2026: Ahead of the by-election to the 56th Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency scheduled for April 9, an all-party meeting was convened at the Dharmanagar Police Station on Friday morning to ensure a peaceful atmosphere during the electoral process.

The meeting was attended by Dharmanagar Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jayanta Karmakar, Officer-in-Charge Mina Debbarma, and representatives of various political parties.

The discussion focused on maintaining law and order in the constituency and preventing any untoward incidents in the run-up to the by-election.
