Guwahati, March 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will engage directly with the people of Assam through the NaMo application on Monday, March 30, at 1 pm, focusing on issues related to the forthcoming Assembly elections.
The state BJP issued a statement on Friday describing the outreach as a visionary initiative intended to captivate public attention and strengthen the direct bond between the Prime Minister and the grassroots electorate.
The state BJP has called upon all party workers and the general public to download and register on the NaMo App to become an integral part of this unique digital interaction. The party emphasized that this unprecedented engagement aims to fortify the “direct connect” between the Prime Minister and the citizens of Assam at a time when the BJP-led coalition is officially seeking a third consecutive term in power.
This upcoming election marks a significant milestone as it is the first assembly contest to be held following the 2023 delimitation exercise, which reshaped the boundaries of the state’s 126 constituencies.
