Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has welcomed the decision of the Government of India to reduce central excise duty on petrol and diesel amid the evolving situation in West Asia.
In a statement, Rio expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the move. He said the reduction in excise duty would help ease the financial burden on citizens.
The Chief Minister stated that the decision is expected to provide relief to various sectors affected by global uncertainties linked to the situation in West Asia.
