Three Tripura ITI Students Shine at IndiaSkills National Competition

Agartala, March 30: Three candidates from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Tripura are representing the state at the National IndiaSkills Competition 2025–26, currently underway in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh from March 29 to April 2, an official of the Directorate of Industries and Commerce said on Sunday.

According to the official, Pritam Biswas and Karan Bhattacharjee from ITI Teliamura are competing in the ICT Network Infrastructure skill category. “Both candidates have received a direct walkover to the national-level competition, which reflects their strong candidature and preparedness,” the official said.

The third participant, Deep Debnath from ITI Kamalpur, is representing the state in the Electrical Installation skill category. He had earlier secured a silver medal at the Regional IndiaSkills Competition, earning his berth at the national event.

“The Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Government of Tripura, is proud of these young talents who are showcasing their skills on a national platform. We extend our best wishes to all participants and are hopeful they will bring laurels to the state,” the official added.
