Aizawl, April 1: Lalduhoma on Wednesday initiated the self-enumeration exercise for Census 2027 in Mizoram, an official said.

The Chief Minister completed the process at his official residence using the newly launched online census portal.

Officials from the Aizawl Municipal Corporation, the General Administration Department, and the Directorate of Census Operations were present during the exercise to assist with the digital data entry.

According to officials, the self-enumeration process under Phase-I of Census 2027 has begun in the state, with citizens encouraged to submit their details through the online portal between April 1 and April 15, 2026, to ensure accurate and convenient data collection.
