Itanagar, April 3: Arunachal Pradesh’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is projected to increase from Rs 41,314 crore in FY 2025-26 to Rs 50,651 crore in FY 2026-27, marking a 23% growth, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein said on Friday.
Holding the Finance, Planning, and Investment portfolios, Mein said the projected growth reflects the state’s development policies and improving economic fundamentals. He attributed the increase to higher capital expenditure, improved resource mobilization, and strengthened tax administration, citing the latest communication from the Union Ministry of Finance.
“The steady rise in GSDP underscores our fiscal management and investments in key sectors,” Mein said. He added that the government remains committed to inclusive growth, resilient infrastructure, and enhanced livelihoods.
