Pakyong, April 4: Ten candidates in Pakyong District have been declared elected unopposed from their respective wards following the completion of the nomination and withdrawal process for the General Municipal Election 2026.

The certificates of election were formally issued by the Municipal Returning Officer-cum-District Collector, Pakyong, Rohan Agawane.

Pakyong Nagar Panchayat:

01 Kartok Ward: Inchung Bhutia (Sikkim Krantikari Morcha, SKM)

02 Dugalakha Ward: Rozi Gurung (SKM)

03 Basnet Gaon Ward: Bhim Maya Chettri (SKM)

04 Pakyong Bazar Ward: Rakesh Basnett (SKM)

05 Dikling–Chalamthang Ward: Sancha Maya Tamang (SKM)

Rangpo Nagar Panchayat:

01 Majhitar Ward: Sanju Manger (SKM)

02 Mining Ward: Radha Pradhan (SKM)

03 Mandi Bazar Ward: Sanjeev Kumar Khati (SKM)

04 Rangpo Upper Bazar Ward: Pinku Kumar Prasad (SKM)

05 Chanatar Ward: Larishna Tamang (SKM)

All ten candidates are from the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) and will assume office without a contest.
