Agartala, April 06, 2026: In line with the Government of India’s flagship Mission Karmayogi initiative, the Directorate of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Tripura, is observing Sadhana Saptah 2026 from April 2 to April 8, aimed at enhancing digital readiness and capacity building among government officials.
The programme was formally inaugurated at the Smart Training Centre in Agartala by Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha, in the presence of Kuntal Das, Special Secretary, OBC Welfare Department, and Jeya Ragul Geshan B, Director of Information Technology, along with officers and staff of the department.
Adding value to the programme, Samrat Kishor from the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, participated virtually as a resource person.
The week-long initiative includes structured learning activities, interactive webinars, and knowledge-sharing sessions designed to address emerging administrative and technological challenges. Officers and staff have been encouraged to dedicate at least four hours to learning during the week through a blend of guided sessions and self-paced modules on the iGOT platform.
Through this initiative, the Directorate of IT has reiterated its commitment to continuous skill upgradation, digital empowerment, and future-ready governance. The programme aims to equip civil servants with the necessary tools and knowledge to remain agile, efficient, and responsive in an increasingly dynamic administrative environment.
The initiative aligns with broader efforts under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Department of Personnel and Training, and the Digital India mission to modernize governance and enhance public service delivery.
