Aizawl, April 21: The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) will declare the results of the Class 10 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination on April 23, according to an official statement issued on Tuesday.
Students and parents will be able to access the results through the board’s official websites, www.mbse.edu.in and www.mbseonline.com. In addition, printed result sheets will be displayed at the MBSE office in Chaltlang, Aizawl, and at the regional office in Lunglei town. The board has also set up a help desk to assist candidates and guardians with queries during working hours.
School Education Minister Vanlalthlana had earlier announced that beginning this year, MBSE will discontinue the practice of publishing merit lists, ranks, distinctions, and divisions in the result books. The decision, he explained, is aimed at reducing high-stakes competition based on rote learning and promoting competency-based education.
In the previous academic year, the Class 10 board examination recorded a pass percentage of 76.68.
