Agartala, May 06, 2026: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in Tripura on Wednesday officially launched the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Campaign 2026’ with an aim to strengthen the party organisation up to the mandal level and enhance the skills of party workers.
The programme was inaugurated by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha at the state BJP office in Agartala in the presence of party leaders, mandal trainers and workers.
According to party sources, the campaign has been launched to further reinforce the organisational foundation of the party and ensure ideological and administrative training for workers at the grassroots level.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that training is an integral part of any organisation and added that, like previous years, party workers would receive detailed guidance on ideology, good governance and the developmental initiatives undertaken by the BJP-led government.
He said the training module has been prepared under the guidance of the central leadership and noted that Tripura BJP chief spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty is playing a significant role in implementing the programme.

Saha further stated that the campaign draws inspiration from the ideals of Deendayal Upadhyaya and aims to create ideological clarity among workers while strengthening the party’s outreach among the masses at the grassroots level.
Expressing confidence over the initiative, he said the campaign would provide fresh momentum to organisational activities and deepen the relationship between the party and the common people.
Speaking at the programme, Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee described the training campaign as an important step towards building a united and strong organisation.
He said skilled workers and well-organised teams are the key focus of the initiative and added that such programmes would enhance the capabilities of party workers and further strengthen their ideological commitment.
