Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday asked BJP workers to combine “dedication, discipline, and clear vision” with stronger grassroots work to drive Arunachal Pradesh’s development and deliver welfare schemes to the last mile.

Speaking at the Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan for Lower Siang and Leparada districts in Basar, the Union Minister for Minority and Parliamentary Affairs said BJP governments at the Centre and in the state have brought “significant development” through several public welfare initiatives.

Rijiju said a party worker’s duty goes beyond organisational tasks. “They must ensure government welfare schemes and development programmes reach every section of society in a timely and effective manner,” he said.

He added that disciplined organisational work and collective effort are crucial to realising a “developed and self reliant Arunachal Pradesh.” Stronger grassroots engagement, he noted, would speed up development and deepen public participation in governance.

The Arunachal West MP also urged cadre to stay rooted in the party’s ideology while taking development programmes to the grassroots.

State BJP president Kaling Moyong said the training was meant to equip workers with the party’s ideology, structure, achievements, challenges, and governance practices. Such sessions, he said, build organisational strength and improve worker efficiency across levels.
