Agartala, May 27, 2026: With the process for appointing the new Tripura BJP state president drawing closer, Chief Minister Manik Saha held important meetings with senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in New Delhi to deliberate on organisational and political matters concerning the state.
As part of his visit, Dr. Saha met BJP National President Nitin Nabin at the party headquarters. The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisation in Tripura, reviewing internal affairs, and discussing the current political scenario in the state ahead of the anticipated organisational reshuffle.
Dr. Saha termed the discussions meaningful and said the party leadership exchanged views on several issues linked to the functioning and future strategy of the Tripura BJP unit.
Before meeting the BJP leadership, the Chief Minister also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. During the interaction, various governance-related and political topics concerning Tripura were discussed amid ongoing consultations over the party’s state leadership selection process.
