Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya chaired a review meeting in Shillong on Saturday to assess preparations for the 39th National Games 2027.

The meeting was attended by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma, Meghalaya Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Wailadmiki Shylla, Indian Olympic Association President P. T. Usha, senior officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and representatives of North Eastern states.

During the meeting, stakeholders reviewed the progress of infrastructure development, venue readiness, coordination mechanisms, and other preparatory arrangements related to the upcoming National Games 2027.
