Prem Singh Tamang on Saturday inaugurated two new facilities at the Chief Minister’s Model School in Assam Lingzey, including a STEM Laboratory and a 10-metre indoor shooting range.

The STEM Laboratory is aimed at providing students with hands-on learning opportunities to promote innovation, scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The indoor shooting range has been set up to support the development of sporting talent by improving discipline, focus, and competitive skills among students interested in shooting sports.

According to the Chief Minister, the new facilities are intended to enhance both academic and sporting opportunities, aligning with efforts to equip students with modern learning resources and encourage overall development.
