Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Monday appointed five Members of the Legislative Assembly as advisors to different departments and reshuffled the portfolio of another legislator. The appointments were announced through a notification issued by Cabinet Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen in Kohima.
The order stated that the allocation of responsibilities was made with immediate effect to draw upon the vast and practical experience of the legislators for the benefit of the people.
The Chief Minister’s move reflects an effort to strengthen governance by engaging senior lawmakers in advisory roles while ensuring effective management of departmental functions through the reshuffle.
