Shillong, June 9: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Tuesday attended the Annual General Meeting of the National People’s Party (NPP) in New Shillong, where he joined party leaders and members for substantive discussions on regional and national issues.
Speaking at the gathering, Sangma said he was “glad to join our energetic NPP leaders” and emphasised the party’s commitment to working together as a united voice for the people. The meeting provided a platform for deliberations on strengthening collective efforts to address challenges facing the North East and the country.
Party leaders reiterated their focus on reinforcing grassroots engagement, tackling emerging problems, and promoting inclusive growth and development across the region. The NPP meeting underlined the party’s resolve to remain united and purposeful in serving the public.
