Meghalaya Filled More Than 3,000 Vacant Government Posts, Says Deputy CM Tynsong

Shillong, June 18: Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Prestone Tynsong on Thursday said that more than 3,000 vacancies in various government departments have been filled during the recent recruitment cycle.

Addressing the issue of government employment, Tynsong said an additional 1,000 vacancies have accumulated across departments. He informed that the Central Recruitment Board will issue advertisements for these posts in the coming months to initiate the recruitment process.

The state government has been undertaking recruitment drives to fill vacant positions in different departments and address staffing requirements.
