Guwahati, July 28, 2023: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat arrived at Geetashram in Central Assam on a significant three-day visit to the state on Thursday.
Dr Bhagwat’s journey began with his arrival at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at 5 PM, after which he proceeded to Uttar Asom Pranta’s karyalaya in Hojai.
During his visit, Dr Bhagwat is scheduled to address the Swayamsevaks participating in the Sangh Shiksha Varg (2nd year) program, which commenced on July 12 and is set to conclude on August 1, as confirmed by Kishor Shivam, Prachar Pramukh (Media Relations In-Charge) of Asom Pranta.
The program has drawn a total of 151 Swayamsevaks from Asom Kshetra, with 95 participants from Uttar Asom Pranta, 12 from Dakshin Asom Pranta, 4 from Arunachal Pranta, 44 from Tripura Pranta, and 6 from Manipur Pranta. Dr Mohan Bhagwat’s visit holds significant importance for the RSS community in the region.
