IAF Helicopters Continue Rescue Missions In Flood-Hit Tripura

Agartala, August 26: Despite the deluge, Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopters, including Mi-17 and Dhruv, continued their life-saving aid missions on August 25, 2024, in the flood-ravaged areas of Jatanbari, Shankarpalli, and Gomati district.

With unwavering resolve, the helicopters delivered 60 NDRF personnel and over 45 tons of supplies to those stranded by the floods, providing much-needed succor to the affected areas.

The rapid response by the IAF reaffirms its commitment to Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations. The Indian Air Force has pledged to continue its support operations in the region.

The IAF tweeted, “Operations by IAF will continue in support,” indicating their ongoing dedication to providing aid to those affected by the floods in Tripura.
