Assam police seized heroin worth over Rs 5.34 crore and arrested four individuals in Sribhumi district on Friday. The drug bust occurred during an anti-narcotics operation based on credible intelligence.

The operation led to the interception of a vehicle at Radhe Pyaare Bazar, coming from a neighboring state, where 670 grams of heroin was recovered. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed the arrests and stated that further investigations are ongoing.
