A 30-year-old man, Amram Ganak, was fatally injured in a rhino attack in the Mahpara area of Kaziranga National Park’s Kohora range on Friday morning. Ganak, who was working in the fields, was charged by the rhino and suffered severe injuries. He was immediately taken to a nearby medical facility but succumbed to his wounds shortly after.

This incident follows a similar tragedy in Assam’s Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary last year, where a motorcyclist, Saddam Hussain, was killed in a rhino attack.
