Mizoram Governor Seeks Blessings At Kamakhya Temple In Guwahati

Aizawl, Jan 15: Gen. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd.), the Governor-Designate of Mizoram, visited the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati on Wednesday to seek blessings ahead of his official swearing-in ceremony.

Gen. Singh offered prayers at the temple, seeking divine guidance and strength to serve the people of Mizoram with dedication, humility, and integrity. His visit to the temple, one of India’s prominent Shakti Peeths, underscores his respect for the region’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

The 25th Governor of Mizoram, Gen. Singh, will be sworn in on January 16, 2025, during a formal ceremony at the Circular Lawn, Raj Bhavan, Aizawl.
