Two Bangladeshi Infiltrators Arrested In Meghalaya, Children Placed In Juvenile Welfare Homes

Shillong, Jan 25: Two Bangladeshi infiltrators were arrested in East Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya for attempting to illegally cross into Bangladesh. Along with the women, four children were apprehended.

The group, which had recently returned from Bengaluru, was intercepted by the Border Security Force (BSF) while trying to cross the international border. The BSF handed over the individuals to the district police for legal proceedings, while the children were sent to juvenile welfare homes for care.
