The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully intercepted a Bolero pickup truck on the Dawki-Lyngkhat Road near the India-Bangladesh International Border in Meghalaya. The truck was found transporting a load of smuggled oranges.

The driver, an Indian national, was apprehended after being found without valid documents. He was handed over to local police for further investigation. The BSF’s action is part of ongoing efforts to prevent cross-border smuggling in the region.
