Arunachal Pradesh Inaugurates New Kimin Police Station To Bolster Security

Kimin, Feb 7: The state of Arunachal Pradesh took a significant step towards enhancing its law enforcement capabilities with the inauguration of the new Kimin Police Station in Papum Pare District on Friday, February 7. The ceremony was graced by several prominent officials, including Minister of Indigenous Affairs Mama Natung, MLA and Advisor to the Home Department Mutchu Mithi, Doimukh MLA Nabam Vivek, Director General of Police Anand Mohan (IPS), IGP Prison Tojo Karga (IPS), and Papum Pare District Commissioner Jiken Bomjen (APCS), among others.

Minister Mama Natung addressed the gathering, emphasizing that the new police station is an important milestone in the state’s efforts to improve security infrastructure. The station is expected to enhance policing efforts, maintain law and order, and ensure better safety for the people of Kimin and surrounding areas.

The inauguration event was also attended by local leaders, including ZPM Kimin Bamang Yayu, PRI members, and Gaon Buras. The new facility is seen as a crucial step in strengthening the efficiency and responsiveness of law enforcement in the region.
