Assam Rifles, in coordination with the Customs Preventive Force (Champhai), recovered five cases of foreign-origin Dagon Beer and fifty-nine cases of Korean Soju at Melbuk Crossing Point, Zokhawthar, Champhai District, Mizoram.

The total value of the seized liquor is estimated at Rs 10,50,500 (Rupees Ten Lakh Fifty Thousand Five Hundred). The goods were handed over to the Customs authorities for further legal proceedings.
