Kohima, Mar 31: The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, will host the RSL High Achievers’ Concert for East India on March 31, 2025, at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, Kohima. The event will recognize musicians who have excelled in their Rockschool examinations, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent.
Tim Bennett-Hart, CEO of RSL Awards, will attend the event during his first visit to Nagaland. RSL Awards, an international education body specializing in creative arts, operates in 60 countries. He will be joined by Arup Gohain, RSL Country Manager and Director for India.
Chairman of TaFMA, Theja Meru, welcomed Bennett-Hart’s visit and highlighted Nagaland’s cultural ties with the UK, facilitated through collaborations with the British Council in India. He expressed confidence that the visit would further strengthen these connections and create new opportunities for musicians and educators.
The event will be hosted by RSL Nagaland Local Area Representative, Mele Pucho, with support from TaFMA. It aims to celebrate musical excellence and promote contemporary music education in the region.
