Acting on specific intelligence, alert personnel of the 22 Battalion Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya apprehended 26 Bangladeshi nationals and 4 Indian touts while they were attempting to infiltrate the India-Bangladesh border in the West Garo Hills district.

Several vehicles used in the attempted infiltration were also seized during the operation.
