The 35th edition of the Nagaland Taekwondo Championship 2025, along with the Under-14 Catch Them Young Tournament, commenced in Longleng with a total of 486 participants.

Speaking at the inaugural function, Advisor for Information Technology & Communication and Economic & Statistics, H. Sethrongkyu Sangtam, encouraged the youth to pursue their interests in sports and other fields. He stated that the government is committed to supporting individuals who show dedication and sincerity in their chosen paths.

The tournament is jointly organized by the All Nagaland Taekwondo Association and the Directorate of Youth Resources and Sports, Nagaland, and is being hosted by the Longleng District Taekwondo Association.
