Aizawl, Oct 30: The Mizoram government has launched a major initiative to assess the performance of state employees, announced Chief Minister Lalduhoma during an economic summit. He mandated all departments to establish service review committees to evaluate employee fitness for their roles.

The Chief Minister warned that necessary actions, including termination, may be taken against those found unfit. He also highlighted the importance of stricter oversight on development projects, stating that all proposals must now be submitted to the Centre through the state’s planning department.
