Ameesha From Northeast India Becomes 2nd Runner-Up In ‘UCMAS Online Challenge 2022’ Held At UAE

Agartala, September 01, 2022 : Ameesha Sinha – an eleven years old girl from Northeast India, has made the entire region proud by becoming the 2nd Runner-up in the UCMAS (Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System) Online Challenge-2022 (International).

Ameesha, Grade-5A student of “Gems Our Own English Medium High School” in UAE came to limelight, when she became the UCMAS Champion in UAE (United Arab Emirates) in the year 2022.

Born to Ananta Sinha and Manjusree Sinha – hailing from Assam and Tripura respectively. Her father is a field construction manager, employed at Saudi Modern Company (A Group of Riyadh Cable). Manjusree is a house wife. Earlier, she too served as Accounts Manager in a reputed UAE-based company.

Her mother in a telephonic conversation with Northeast Today said, “Since her childhood, when she was in KG-II, she had developed a passion for mathematics. Showing her interest in mathematics, she was admitted into one UMCAS centre. Ameesha, not only interested in Mathematics, she has a deep love for painting, singing, recitation and badminton. Sometimes, she composes songs too”.

Ameesha’s father Ananta said, “In future, she wants to be a professor in Mathematics. Her work and devotion to God have made us proud.”
