Deputy Commissioner Vishal Sah on Monday chaired a review meeting with officials from Powergrid Corporation to assess the progress of the long-pending 132kV and 33kV transmission line projects in the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner expressed serious concern over the delay of more than three years in completing the projects. He highlighted the severe difficulties faced by the public, particularly during the peak summer season, due to frequent power supply disruptions.
Sah urged Powergrid authorities to expedite the ongoing work, deploy additional manpower on-site, and ensure timely completion of the remaining tasks to alleviate the hardships faced by residents.
