Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday distributed AI-powered ‘KIBO’ reading devices to students of the Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired at Chimpu, near the capital Itanagar.
The distribution is part of an initiative to enhance accessibility and promote inclusive education for students with disabilities. The AI devices are designed to help users independently read printed, handwritten, and digital content in their preferred language and at their own pace.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said, “Real progress happens when innovation meets compassion, and when no one is left behind.”
