Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu campaigned in Assam on Saturday, supporting NDA candidates ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
At the Sonapur Higher Secondary School Playground, Khandu endorsed AGP candidate Basanta Das from the Nawboicha (SC) constituency, noting a large public turnout. He emphasized the close cooperation between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh in promoting regional development.
Khandu also addressed voters in Yuva Nagar in the newly created Ranganadi Assembly constituency, expressing support for BJP candidate Rishiraj Hazarika. He highlighted progress in resolving Assam–Arunachal boundary issues and stressed development, safety, and infrastructure as key priorities, with BJP in power at both the Centre and in the two states.
