Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday handed over cheques worth ₹19 crore to the villagers of Chuna. The amount is for land acquisition related to the Damteng–Chuna road project and land acquired by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police.
The distribution took place following the International Yoga Day celebration at Chuna. The Chief Minister described this as a key step toward advancing development in the state’s remote areas. He expressed gratitude to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, State Minister Kento Jini, and district administration officials for their role in the initiative.
