Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday inaugurated the new Administrative Block of Sera Jey Jamyang Choekhorling Monastery in Tawang. The event was attended by Venerable Geshe Lobsang Norbu, Chief Administrator of Sera Jey Monastery, Karnataka, and His Eminence Dolhe Rinpoche Tenzin Kunkhyen, Abbot of the monastery.

The new infrastructure will enhance administrative and residential facilities for monks and students. A school bus was also donated by the State Bank of India, Tawang Branch, to benefit local children.

CM Khandu also received blessings from Abbot Venerable Phara Damey Tulku Rinpoche during his visit to the monastery.
