Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several key infrastructure projects in West Kameng district aimed at improving road connectivity, public facilities, and community welfare. The initiatives are expected to benefit residents of the Thrizino–Buragaon Assembly constituency.
The projects dedicated to the public include the improvement of the Palizi (NH-13) to Thrizino ADC HQ Road, strengthening of the Thrizino Township Road, and construction of a CC road from the Helipad to NH-13 via the PWD Circuit House.
Foundation stones were laid for the construction of RCC bridges over the Dinkho and Tenga Chu rivers under the Singchung Sub-Division, improvement of township roads at Singchung and Bhalukpong under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive State Road Development Plan (CMCSRDP), and multiple development works such as badminton halls, government quarters, and school buildings.
Other key projects include the upgradation of roads under PMGSY, construction of approach roads at Buragaon, CC road from NH-13 to St. Xavier School in Palizi, hostel infrastructure at NSCBAV Karamu and New Kaspi, and installation of a FIFA-certified artificial football turf at Buddha Stadium in Bomdila.
These projects are aimed at boosting connectivity, enhancing public infrastructure, and promoting sports and education in the district.
