Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday met renowned Hollywood actor Richard Gere following the Tenchug ceremony offered to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

In a post shared on his official X handle, Khandu said he had the opportunity to connect with Richard Gere, who was accompanied by his son, Homer James Jigme Gere. He acknowledged Gere’s lifelong dedication to the Dalai Lama and commended his efforts in spreading the message of Tibetan Buddhism globally.
