Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Observes Samvidhan Hatya Diwas In Tawang

The District Administration of Tawang solemnly observed Samvidhan Hatya Diwas at the District Headquarters today, reflecting on the importance of safeguarding democratic values and constitutional principles.

The commemorative programme was held at the DC Conference Hall, Tawang, and graced by the presence of the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu. Also in attendance were MLA Lungla, Tsering Lhamu; MLA Tawang, Namgey Tsering; Zilla Parishad Chairperson, Leki Gombu; Deputy Commissioner, Namgyal Angmo, IAS; Superintendent of Police, Dr.DW Thongon; Vice Chairperson, Department of Karmik and Adhyatmik Affairs (DoKAA), Sange Chodup; all ZPMs, PRI members, Heads of Offices, Executive Members of the Monpa Mimang Tsogpa (MMT), and students from various institutions.

Prior to the main programme, a peaceful rally was organized, beginning from the Giant Buddha Statue and culminating at the DC Office. The rally witnessed active participation from students, National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets, National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of Dorjee Khandu Government College, Tawang, and members of the general public.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu felicitated the winners of various Competitions like drawing, Painting, Essay Writing and Speech conducted earlier in Schools.

The event served as a reminder of the enduring relevance of constitutional values and democratic processes in ensuring the rights and dignity of every citizen.
