Arunachal CM Reviews BRO Projects To Strengthen Border And Rural Connectivity

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday held a meeting with Lt. Gen. Raghu Srinivasan, Director General of Border Roads, to review key infrastructure projects being carried out by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in the state. Senior officials from BRO Projects Arunank, Brahmank, and Udayak were also present during the discussions.

The meeting focused on strengthening road infrastructure across Arunachal Pradesh, with particular emphasis on remote and border areas. The discussions highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance last-mile connectivity, improve border security, and support the rural economy.

Khandu acknowledged the BRO’s efforts in executing infrastructure development in some of the most difficult terrains in the state. He praised the organisation for connecting isolated communities, promoting local livelihoods, and reinforcing national security through its strategic road-building initiatives.
